Fundraising
Auction Evening and Raffle
An excellent and entertaining evening which raised over £1,341
of much needed funding for the Juniors (£1,241 of auction items
and £100 from the raffle).
The evening was very well carried by Lorna Cotton (Planet Ice) and our
Auctioneer Dan Scott (IW Raiders). Thank you both.
None of this would have been possible without the organisation of the
Fundraising Committee, the very generous donations from the Island business
community, the kind raffle prizes, and to all those who attended and parted
with their hard earned cash.

New method of raising funds for the Club
We can all take part in this by doing our on-line shopping by first visiting this Fundraising site and clicking to your chosen retailer from within this Fundraising page. There is no additional cost to you as the purchaser.
The percentage payment made to the Club varies by retailer and are automatically added to our coffers.
The list of participating retailers is extensive and includes:
ebay, Amazon, Tesco, Argos, AA, B+Q, Boots, Holidays, Insurance, Travel, Lottery, Utilities, Airlines etc....

Surf and browse the Internet AND earn funds for the Club
All
your web searches can raise cash too, we get a weekly update of all
searches done. Just by using our personal search bar (http://iwjihc.easysearch.org.uk/)
though them has raised about around a pound a week. Please consider
making this your default search engine on all your computers.
We only have 7 registered users, it's FREE to register and its easy
to do. If you could forward these links on to all your friends and family
we could raise a bomb. Suggestion:- you could add our link underneath
your signature on all your personal emails/letters etc to raise awareness.
I believe this can work!! Once you have registered and visit the site
when making purchases it will take you NO longer than normal.
We
urgently need to do some fundraising events as soon as individuals can
arrange them. Parents, players and Friends of the Club are all encouraged
to organise events themselves and the managers will make sure players
are in attendance.
Please make your fundraising ideas known.
Our targets
have had to be increased for this season but lets exceed them by as
much as possible.
This affects all teams and all members so please, lets pool our fundraising
ideas together and secure our finances for this season, and beyond.
Club expenses which all need to be covered, include transport costs
for away games, referees fees and trophies.
Please make all your suggestions and ideas known to the club.
