The Isle of Wight Junior Ice Hockey Club are in need of new players for all age groups.
Ice Hockey is a fast and exciting sport.

The Isle of Wight has four Junior Teams:
Under 12's Tornado's
Under 14's Lightning's
Under 16's Thunder's
Under 18's Wildcat's

Training for the teams is on Tuesday's and Thursday's depending on your age group.
The season consists of weekend matches both at Home and Away. These will cost £5.00 for a Home game and £30.00 for an Away game. Parents, brothers and sisters are included in the Away fee.

A monthly subscription of £30.00, payable by standing order, entitles you to train with your age group every week. There is a one-off registration fee of £55.00 when a new player joins.

All new players MUST have full kit before going on the ice.
This kit can be bought secondhand, from parents already involved with ice hockey, Wightbay, eBay, or new from the Rink shop.

The kit consists of:
Helmet Elbow pads
Neck guard Gloves
Body armour Jock
Shorts Shinpads
Stick Hockey skates
Plus your own shirt and socks

POWER HOUR
The Power Hour is a real fun introduction to Ice Hockey. All you need is basic skating skills.
The Power Hour is run by one of our Coaches and takes place on Tuesday evening from 5.30-6.30pm. It will just cost £3.50 per person and includes the hire of skates, stick and helmet. Or you can use your own.
