  Planet Ice Disco Nights
Wednesday's - 8pm to 10pm
Saturday's - 8:30pm to 10:30pm (times may vary slightly depending on games)
Entrance - £3.70 to team members showing their IWJIHC pass.
 
Last seasons U14's have been nominated and short listed for the IW sports achievement awards, for the second year, they won junior team last year, also individuals short listed are Sophie Herbert, Jodie Attrill and Amy Bowkis
The awards will take place at the Riverside centre, Newport on the 11th February.
3rd November 2009 After four challenging elimination trials our U16's player, Aiden Doughty, has been chosen to represent clubs from the South West of England and joins the Conference training squad. A major achievement Aiden. Congratulations! :)
And James McClellan, Jordan Rickett and Aaron Edwards (U18's) are all through to the 2nd elimination round of selections. Well done everyone!

12th December 2009 The Club is now registered with the Fundraising site EasyFundraising to help support our fundraising. Please have a look at our Fundraising page for more details and how you can contribute to our fundraising efforts.
You can also set http://iwjihc.easysearch.org.uk/ as your Home Page, with every Internet search earning additional funds for the Club. Both these things at no cost to yourselves.
29th January 2010 A very successful auction evening raising £1,341 of much needed funds. Read a fuller report on the Fundraising page.
11th February 2010 IW Sports Achievement Award ceremony at Riverside Centre, Newport. Our U14's from last season have been nominated.

On the evening, Eden and Jordan receive the Team Award certificate on behalf of the U14's.
 
12th March 2010 Sophie Herbert selected again to represent the Great Britain Under 18s womens ice hockey team 12th - 14th March in Budapest. The tournament is the four nations annual tournament in Budapest.

  TEAM TRAINING
Tues 17th Aug '10
 U12's and U18's training sessions recommence. Players will need to be registered.
U12's 6.15pm to 7.30pm
U18's 7.45pm to 9pm
Sat 21st Aug '10 U14's and U16's training sessions recommence. Players will need to be registered.
U14's 4.15pm to 5.30pm
U16's 5.45pm to 7pm
Please note that training will revert to Thursday's starting on August 26th. See times below.
Thurs 26th Aug '10 New training times this season due to coaching commitments.
U16's 6.15pm to 7.30pm
U14's 7.45pm to 9pm
   
Private Session Starting Monday 13th September:
Private training session every Monday and Wednesday for U14's and upwards between 7 and 8pm. £5 payable on the night which covers both on and off ice.
The on ice session follows from 8.30pm to 9.30pm for invited players only and is of an advanced nature. BUT - the invited players MUST attend the off ice training to be eligible.

On Wednesday any player not invited to the advanced on ice Monday session will be eligible for this beginners and intermediate training.
The £5 they paid for the Monday off ice will cover this session.

Any player wishing to just go to the Wednesday on ice training will still be charged the £5.
The time for the Wednesday session is yet to be announced but will be open to ALL players in every age group.
Off-ice training
restarts Monday 13th Sept 2010.


Off ice
Mondays 7:00-8:00pm
£5.00 @ Ryde High School.

On ice
Mondays 8:30-9:30pm
at Ryde Arena - free.

Due to the advance nature of the training, this is only available to the U14's and above.

Players must attend the off ice training to benefit from the free on ice session.
